Creating a Space for Healing and Wellness
Proactive Pain Relief & Wellness was founded by Dr. L. Lee Lausch and Dr. Michele Lausch in February 1995. After their graduation from Life University School of Chiropractic, they wanted to remain close to family and knew that the Cocalico/Ephrata was the perfect place to begin their practice. A convenient locale just off of Route 272 ensures that we’re easily reached by all residents of Denver, Ephrata and Reamstown.
Our first location was just down the road, but we soon grew and knew more room was necessary to better accommodate our patients. Originally Lausch Community Chiropractic, we changed our name to Proactive Pain Relief & Wellness to reflect who we are and what we do.

Dr. Michele and Dr. Lee believe in being proactive about your health. First, we’ll work to help relieve any pain you’re in. Over time, we’ll talk to you about what you can do to maintain your well-being in the long term. We understand that your health care provider needs to meet you where you are. We’ll work with your individual health goals to make sure that you get the results you’re looking for and that you deserve to have.
Excellent Care For All Ages
Everyone is welcome at our office. On any given day, we might see a newborn whose parents are heading home from the hospital and want to have their little one checked out, then someone in their 80’s who wants to stay mobile. We enjoy seeing people from all walks of life and welcome the opportunity to meet you!
